We're Jess & Jamie Bourgeois, owners of Bloom & Bramble. Jamie is a lifelong farmer with a true passion for agriculture (Jess is convinced he can grow just about anything!). While Jess didn’t grow up farming, she’s always has an artistic eye and an appreciation for all things wild and wonderful. She holds a certificate in floral design, and her background in marketing and as a nationally-published writer brings a unique perspective to the table.
Combining our knowledge and passions, we’re challenging what people expect when it comes to flowers – and are bringing this fresh take from our fields to your home or event! We've been growing professionally for years, and are excited to have expanded our farming business to include cut flowers, specialty florals, and events.
Jess is inspired by all things vintage, and her arrangements can typically be described as being organic in style with a wildflower/whimsical feel.
While you can walk into any grocery store or florist's shop and buy an arrangement, we wanted to focus on the qualities that we love in LOCAL flowers.
We handpicked each variety of focal flowers, accent blooms, and greenery ourselves. These include heirloom and vintage varieties, as well as ones we felt were interesting or unique.
Local flowers mean no commercial packing house, no being boxed up for shipping, and no airplane ride. More often than not, our flowers are harvested less than 24 hours before they end up in your hands.
We want to do things differently and sustainably, and we find that our clients do, too.
