ABOUT US
We're Jess & Jamie Bourgeois, owners of Bloom & Bramble. We believe in the magic of small gestures, the joy of being connected to nature, and the art of growing and arranging things by hand.
Jess holds certificate in floral design, and is a Floret Workshop alumni. With an artistic eye and an appreciation for all things wild and wonderful, Jess's arrangements can typically be described as being organic in style with a wildflower/whimsical feel. She's inspired by all things vintage, and her background in marketing and as a nationally-published writer brings a unique perspective to the table. Dahlias have quickly become her passion.
Jamie is a lifelong farmer with a true passion for agriculture. He has a knack for innovation, and is always finding unique ways to increase efficiency or to build something better. If a MacGyver were a farmer, he’d be Jamie.
Combining our knowledge and passions, we’re challenging what people expect when it comes to flowers – and are bringing this fresh take from our fields to your home or event. We've been growing professionally for years, and are excited to have expanded our farming business to include cut flowers, a bouquet subscription, specialty florals, and events.
LOCAL BLOOMS
While you can walk into any grocery store or florist's shop and buy an arrangement, we wanted to focus on the qualities that we love in LOCAL flowers.
We handpicked each variety of focal flowers, accent blooms, and greenery ourselves. These include heirloom and vintage varieties, as well as ones we felt were interesting or unique.
Local flowers mean no commercial packing house, no being boxed up for shipping, and no airplane ride. More often than not, our flowers are harvested within 24 hours of ending up in your hands.
WHY US?
We want to do things differently and sustainably, and we find that our clients do, too.
